Entries are completely free of charge and there’s no limit to the amount of entries per person. Increasing the number of entries will increase the chances of being selected in the prize draw, so go crazy and enter away!

To receive completely free fitting, carpets and underlay-the carpet must be chosen from our selected competition ranges (listed below) and the room selected must not exceed our maximum room size measurements.

The maximum room size to qualify for free fitting, carpet and underlay is 28m2 (approx 7x4m). If the room of choice exceeds this size, the winner will pay the difference for any measurements outside of the 28m2 maximum. For example, if the room selected by the winner measures 40m2 (approx 8x5m) the winner will receive free fitting, underlay and carpets for 28m2 only and will pay the difference for the remaining. This will be worked out by deducting the 28m2 competition size limit from the total size of 8x5m (40m2). The customer will owe for the remaining amount against 12m2 (40m2-28m2).
The competition will run from Tuesday 19th December 2023 for a limited time only and the winner will be announced on or before 5th January 2024. The official reveal date will be posted to our bio on our Instagram page within due course. Winners will be notified via Instagram and will have 7 days from being notified to respond or get in touch. After this date, if there has been no response from the winner, the selected person will lose their right to the competition prize and a new winner will be selected.

Fitting of the carpet must take place before 1st March 2024. Location of fitting must be within a 25 mile radius of our store in Crosshills, BD20 7DS. For locations outside of this radius, a charge may apply to cover fuel costs.

All furniture must be removed from the room to be fitted and any existing flooring lifted and disposed prior to the arrival of our fitters. If this is not completed before the fitting date, the fitting will not go ahead and the competition prize may be voided. If help is needed with furniture removal or uplift and disposal of existing carpet, this must be arranged with us and confirmed prior to any work commencing and fees may apply. For elderly persons or people struggling with mobility issues, please let us know prior to work going ahead as free furniture and carpet removal may apply.

Already booked in or had your flooring fitted with Halls Carpets & Flooring Ltd on or after 1st October 2023?
No problem, the winner can choose to be fully refunded for the cost or alternatively, have a room of choice newly carpeted and fitted as per the normal competition rules. The winner cannot choose both. Proof of invoice and receipt of full payment must be provided to qualify for a refund. If a refund option is chosen (for jobs already completed by us) a refund can only be issued for up to 28m2 maximum. Any difference in measurement that exceeds this amount will not be included within the refund.

Marketing and media
The winners may be asked to feature in Aspire magazine and on our social media platforms. Therefore, winners must be comfortable having pictures taken in their home and may be asked to feature in the pictures themselves. Winners will have a say on which photos are chosen to feature. Alternatively, winners may prefer to provide photos themselves but these must meet our quality and posting standards.

All the carpets listed below are included within our competition choices. To view these options, please click the 'view ranges' button below. If one of these ranges is selected and the measurements of the room of choice does not exceed 28m2, then the winner will receive their room fitted completely free of charge.

Can other flooring options be chosen outside of the competition ranges?
Yes. Any other options outside of these ranges can still be selected, and any other type of flooring that we provide can also be selected. However, if the chosen flooring is priced higher than any of our selected competition ranges then the winner will have to pay the difference in price. This will be worked out by deducting the maximum competition price away from the total cost. The remainder will be owed by the winner.
